WHO EU Referendum Truth and Reconciliation Thread
It's all over now. Some of us are flailing about and spitting out our dummies, while others are managing their disappointment with maturity and dignity. Some of us are unexpectedly celebrating this first important step towards lancing a boil that has been giving them jip for 30 years.

A lot of spiteful things have been said between us, and maybe it's time to accept our wrongdoings and make good. It's what Twitter would want. So I propose we all apologise to one another. Pick one from the opposing team, confess your sin towards that individual and say sorry.

I'll go first.

Northern Sold. I am sorry for secretly, yet fervently, wishing a series of anal gland infections on your dog, and for him to scoot it across your carpet.

Did He vote Remain or Leave?

I think we should be told.

Re: WHO EU Referendum Truth and Reconciliation Thread
Doesn't look like this thread is leading to much truth and certainly no reconciliation over the EU referendum! Ha ha.

In the meantime Labour is crumbling in the aftermath of Friday's result. The jocks are losing the plot, the Irish republicans retain the right to murder people, our Muslim mayor will no doubt stir things up soon, and the Tories are still at war.

Morning Johnson, you overweight lump of lard.

What did you devour for breakfast then. Half a pig, couple of dozen eggs and a few loaves?

You are a disgrace.

A libertarian leftie??

You might find yourself on the inside of a glass cabinet with a curious and astonished public gawping at you.

Re: WHO EU Referendum Truth and Reconciliation Thread
Well I voted remain and am not bitter about the result, disappointed definitely but, as a died in the wool libertarian lefty tree hugger, electoral disappointment is the norm. Get over it people, you can't win all the time and the world isn't about to end.
Oh, and when people disagree with you it doesn't make them all racist devils. They just disagree with you and that's all it is

Re: WHO EU Referendum Truth and Reconciliation Thread
It is a sad fact of life today that a democratic vote is disrespected because people are used to getting their own way. It's visible on WHO where an opposite opinion makes you an "idiot" or "cunt".

You may well be proved right over time but by then The Sun will have probably swayed their opinions to the opposite view. I voted remain because the EU is more important to me than most but I am happy to go along with the majority.....you cunts!

You're asking Nurse to institute a witch hunt?

Infidel 9:40 Sun Jun 26
Re: WHO EU Referendum Truth and Reconciliation Thread
Nurse, when your Truth and Reconciliation Commission has done its work can we please have a McCarthyite witch hunt to root out the cowardly, unpatriotic, scheming freeloaders who voted Remain and purge them from public life?

When I was young I'd listen to the radio
Waitin' for my favorite songs
When they played I'd sing along, it made me smile

Those were such happy times and not so long ago
How I wondered where they'd gone
But they're back again just like a long lost friend
All the songs I loved so well

Every sha-la-la-la
Every wo-o-wo-o, still shines
Every shing-a-ling-a-ling, that they're startin' to sing's, so fine

When they get to the part
Where he's breakin' her heart
It can really make me cry, just like before
It's yesterday once more

Last season was so extraordinary, I even started watching matches again. Hadn't done so for years. Got sucked back in.

I've remained polite and civilised throughout. I have found the whole process sickening and disheartening though.

Can't wait til the league starts again to be honest, if it's like last season nothing will make me glum.
